CHEZ RISE No. 1: Chocolate Souffle. Word on the street has it that they are up for a nom on best dessert from D Magazine. This could clinch it.

CHEZ RISE No. 1: Artichoke Heart & Brie Souffle. This would definitely be “mid” carnage. The brie was in the middle of the souffle all gooey and piping hot.

CHEZ RISE No. 1: Creamed Spinach Souffle. I call this “before” the carnage.

CHEZ RISE No. 1: Rise No. 1 Salad. Mixed greens, granny smith apple matchsticks, toasted pecans, Chevre & pecan vinaigrette. Note this salad was all about the pecan vinaigrette. An incredibly rich and slightly sweet dressing- what pecan butter would taste like if it was in love.

CHEZ RISE No. 1: Marshmallow soup. Tomato carrot soup w pesto & cheese “marshmallows”. A dinner to celebrate my mom & the memory of my dad.
